If you’re travelling to New York in September and you’re into watches, (and who on here isn’t!) be sure to catch the second edition of TimeCrafters. The show provides watch admirers and collectors a unique opportunity to share their passion with the world’s top watchmakers in a unique and inviting environment.
TimeCrafters is the first luxury watchmaking fair to take place in the United States. Prior to TimeCrafters, American aficionados had nowhere to meet the world’s leading watchmaking brands.
The exhibition gives watch lovers an up close and personal view of new watches from many of Switzerland’s finest manufactures. This was brilliantly demonstrated at TimeCrafters’ first edition, showing timepieces which are perfect examples of the creativity and innovation of some of the world’s top marques.
The venue: Park Avenue Armory
TimeCrafters is on from September 13 to 15, 2012 at the Park Avenue Armory, a prestigious space dedicated to the arts in the heart of Manhattan.
Part palace, part industrial shed, Park Avenue Armory fills a critical void in the cultural ecology of New York by enabling artists to create, and the public to experience, unconventional work that could not otherwise be mounted in traditional performance halls and museums. The Armory invites artists to draw upon its grand scale and distinctive character to both inspire and inform their work.
The dazzling line-up of watch brands includes the cream of the Swiss watchmaking industry:
