Guess watches have formed an
unlikely collaboration with DJ and producer Tiesto, using him and his live
performances all around the world to inspire a new design limited edition
watch, that not only includes this watch but clothing too.
The watches will be strictly
limited edition in a gunmetal shade of stainless steel, featuring an oversized
crown, waffle detailed dial, chronograph function and an electric blue second
hand, not to mention Tiesto’s logo which is embossed on the back of the casing.
Guess are said to have picked
Tiesto as the musician to work with as he knows what it takes to build a brand,
having done so successfully around his own name creating Tiesto headphones and
iPhone app and even his own radio channel. Along with this expertise, Guess
felt that Tiesto’s persona was fitting of what Guess wanted to display with
these watches, a free-spirited, adventurous and sexy lifestyle.
Along with the watch that Guess
have designed with Tiesto in mind, he has also been the inspiration for a range
of clothing, also with the aforementioned aspects integrated into the designs. The
watch is the first piece of the collection to be released, and will be
available in August, priced at £165.
